🏔️ High in the Carpathian Mountains lives a young family — Andriy and Tetiana. Together with their son and grandfather, they work hard every day, take care of their homestead, build, cook delicious homemade meals, and enjoy a simple, peaceful life surrounded by the beauty of the Ukrainian mountains. In this video, Andriy and his son start the morning by cutting hay, while Grandpa helps them with a traditional hand scythe. Meanwhile, Tetiana happily welcomes newly hatched goslings, gathers caraway seeds for winter tea, dries garlic scapes, and prepares a delicious homemade dinner. After the haymaking, the men begin another important job—preparing the site and pouring a concrete foundation despite the summer heat. Tetiana spreads the fresh hay to dry, bakes homemade bread, grills marinated chicken over an open fire, roasts fresh potatoes, prepares a garden salad with homegrown cabbage, and brews fragrant blackcurrant leaf tea. At the end of the day, the whole family gathers around the table to relax, enjoy a homemade meal, and spend quality time together.
