The game's core concept is survival. Similar to Minecraft or DayZ, RUST takes place in a rather uninviting, hostile environment where you must fight to survive. In addition to shootouts and battles with other players, Rust also features construction. This is one of the core elements of the gameplay: players must build shelters, and their design is entirely up to their imagination.
