MINI GP2 & BMW 135i - Replace Front Brakes - R56 / E82

How to replace front brake pads (& rotors) on the 6 piston Brembo brakes on a 2013 Mini Cooper John Cooper Works GP or 2007-2013 BMW 135i with the M Sport Package. Lazily filmed with an iPhone camera. Applies to 135i 135is BMW 1 series coupe, R56 Mini Cooper John Cooper Works GP (GP2) Does not apply to regular Cooper S or Cooper S JCW or BMW 1 series without the Brembo 6 piston aluminum calipers. It's really easy to change switch your front brakes between street pads and track pads to have the best pads for the driving situation. Track pads are not suitable for street use and once you start developing some driving skills, street pads are not suitable to be used on the track. Change them yourself between track days and save a lot of time and money. You can probably change the pads in as much time as it would take to deliver and pick up the car from the shop.
