Interview with CNOOC International President in Singapore
China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) Ltd., which holds a 25% interest in the giant Stabroek oil block offshore Guyana, has hailed the rapid development of the oil industry in Guyana. But CNOOC International’s President says it’s not all about the money. He said the success of the industry depends on Guyanese being involved, and that’s why his company backs Guyana’s Local Content law. The News Room’s Neil Marks spoke with the CNOOC President in Singapore, where the naming ceremony for the third Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel was held. On Wednesday, First Lady Arya Ally was officially named godmother of the vessel, Prosperity, and it will soon set sail for Guyana. #prosperity #fpsoprosperity #fpso #fpsoguyana #stabroekblock #oilandgas #oilandgasguyana #petroleum #energy #energyguyana #singapore #exxonmobil #cnooc #hess #newsroomguyana #newsroomgy #guyana #guyanese #news #guyananews #newsguyana
