Ideal seed sowing time for rice crop | Paddy Nursery raising time | Abid Ali Agrarian

In this video, I will mention the best time for seed sowing or nursery raising of rice crop. Farmers can get the high grains yield from paddy crop if he sows seeds and shifts seedlings at optimum time. Temperature plays a crucial role in rice grains yield as rice plant pollination depends on it. Blanking of panicles occurs when temperature goes above 35 degree Centigrade. We need to know about the time of panicles emergence of rice plant. Different varieties emerge panicles at different times. Short duration varieties such as Kisan basmati 1509, PB 1847 and 1692 emerge panicles 60 days after seedlings transplantation whereas long duration varieties such as PK 1121 Kainat, PB 1885, PB 1718 etc emerge panicles 85 to 90 days after seedlings transplantation. Optimum seedling age is 25 days in case of short duration varieties and 30 to 35 days in case of long duration varieties. Optimum seed sowing time can be calculated by keeping in mind these factors.
