The gaming industry today is up in flames. Layoffs, exploding budgets, wait times between series entries approaching and even far surpassing a full decade of development time. There's a lot of explanations for how it got this bad. Greed, AI putting pressure on supply chains, the insistence on the most powerful technology at the cost of everything else. Standing in stark contrast to the values (or lack thereof) modern gaming CEOs hold is Satoru Iwata.
