Hajime no Ippo New Challenger (AMV - Lying From You)

Song: Lying From You - Linkin Park EDIT: May 14, 2023 Looking at this again after more than a decade, I'm still satisfied at how this AMV turned out, exactly how I felt at the beginning. A few editing misses here and there are acknowledged (and yes, the crop is atrocious, not to mention the watermark). But that only shows that this video has accumulated millions of views more than I would have imagined (I may create a corrected version, but do not have the luxury of time). I created this AMV out of inspiration of other AMVs I've watched back in those days. I simply just want to reproduce the musicality of those other AMVs and found no other Anime series to showcase it than Hajime No Ippo, and this title match between Hawk and Takamura is the perfect match for it. Hajime No Ippo is at the top of my list as 'Best Anime Series' (along with other 'classics' like HxH 1999, Death Note, Naruto, etc.) and I hope this AMV has drawn out its greatness along with this masterpiece of Linkin Park, even for a little bit. The AMV has slowed down. But I hope it's done its job to spark some motivation to other creators in making great AMVs, the same way I felt watching aforementioned AMVs.
