The Apenheul born gorilla #Gyasi, the mother of #Kiango, sadly passed away on Wednesday, 13 July 2022. She lived to the age of 20. Gyasi had a good relationship with all the gorillas, including gorilla leader Bao Bao. She gave birth to their son Kiango in February 2021.
