Kolbulle - The 6000 kcal/day diet
Kolbulle - a thick panncake served with bacon and lingonberry jam fried in plenty of fat. And a cup of strong coffee. That's was the staple dish made for breakfast, lunch and dinner for thousands of men working in the Swedish forests up until the 1940s. It was an unbalanced but extremely energy rich diet well suited for hard work. This is how it´s made and the story behind it.
