Welcome to the first video from our Dolomites 2026 series. We begin our Dolomite adventure from one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the entire region — Passo Giau. From the very first minutes, we are surrounded by breathtaking panoramas, views of the impressive walls of La Gusella, a raw, almost lunar landscape, and a trail that is just perfect for starting your adventure in the Dolomites. In this episode, we hike to Rifugio Nuvolau, one of the most scenic mountain huts in the Dolomites. Along the way, we take on a short, pleasant and easy via ferrata graded A, cross some rocky terrain, use steel cables and metal steps, enjoy beautiful views of Marmolada, and take a well-earned break at Rifugio Averau.
