Kenya Private Security Workers Union welcomes government’s arming plan

The Kenya Private Security Workers Union has welcomed the move to arm private guards. At the same time, the authority has assured that comprehensive training will be conducted before private security guards are handed weapons. Interior cabinet secretary, Fred Matiangi, has already given a nod to the same but guards will only be armed after receiving special training.
