Homem é flagrado roubando gata de estimação na zona leste de São Paulo

A man was caught taking a pet cat in the eastern zone of São Paulo. The incident occurred in the Jardim Maria Lídia neighborhood and left the animal's owner distraught. The cat, Mia, a mixed breed and 5 years old, belongs to resident Ângela Alves. The episode began when the man parked his car in the middle of the street and interacted with nearby kittens. After several failed attempts to capture Mia, who escaped twice when placed in the vehicle, he finally managed to take the kitten after she crossed to another sidewalk. The owner reported that her cat often goes out for walks in the street but always returns home. The local neighborhood takes care of the abandoned cats in the area, providing water and food. However, residents have recently noticed the disappearance of the pets' collars when they return from the streets. After the incident with Mia, a police report was filed for theft by Ângela.
