A new Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) exam, the BACEN exam, should take place soon. Authorization from the Ministry of Planning is expected in July. The last exam for the institution took place in May 2024 and offered positions for two roles: Analyst in the Economics and Finance Area and Analyst in the Information Technology Area. The new competition includes openings for the position of Attorney at the Central Bank, in addition to positions for Analyst, now called Auditor of the Central Bank. This is a great opportunity to enter the top of the Federal Executive Branch with excellent remuneration and career prospects. In the last competition, more than 270 candidates were called, a number still far below the total number of vacant positions in the agency.
