For two years, we were simply officemates—sharing only shy smiles across the room. But everything changed with one playful message: "Kim, totoo ba yung chismis na..." That simple chat sparked late-night conversations, grew into a wonderful friendship, and eventually blossomed into a love that deepened with every passing day. This isn’t the first wedding we’ve planned. Back in May 2020, we were all set to say our vows, but God had other plans. The pandemic arrived, and what was supposed to be our happiest day was put on hold. Yet even as the world seemed to stop, fate found a way—our marriage license was released and would expire in July 2020. With just a day left, we chose to have a simple civil wedding on July 20, 2020, turning what could have been a missed milestone into a beautiful new beginning. Now, on the very same date, we’re finally tying the knot in front of everyone we love—celebrating not just our wedding, but also our 6th civil wedding anniversary. It’s a day that perfectly marks our journey: unexpected, full of love, and always meant to be.
