Webinar: Strengthening Europe’s Competitiveness Through Sustainable Water Use

The webinar took place on Friday, 10 July 2026 and discovered the key findings and recommendations of the study “Sustainability of Water Use and Management in Renewable Hydrogen Production". The study was carried out by RINA Consulting in collaboration with the Aragon Hydrogen Foundation and SoftWater. The webinar looked into water requirements across renewable hydrogen production pathways; challenges and opportunities for sustainable water use; recommendations for efficient and responsible water management and practical solutions for water-smart hydrogen deployment, including strategic plant siting, desalination integration and circular water management approaches.
