Przemek was a young, confused man in the prime of life. At the time of this film's production, his drinking binge had been ongoing for many months, and the quantities he consumed were truly life-threatening. His addiction was so intense that he declared his apparent desire to change with alarming ease. He failed to realize, however, that the only person he was deceiving in this way was himself. This footage was shot several years ago. Przemek is now dead. The key to normality was indeed in his hands—but time proved too short, and his illness was stronger than good intentions. This film remains a record of a moment when a different ending was still possible. And that's precisely why it's worth watching. I recommend it.
