How To Build A Swing Down Bicycle Storage Lift (Free Plans!)

In this video I will show you how to build a bicycle storage lift that swings down from the ceiling so that you can gain back that precious floor space in your garage! This type of bicycle storage is fantastic because you will not need a ladder to access your bicycles. The entire frame swings down from the ceiling to allow for easy access to your bikes. Even when hanging in the vertical position, it allows you to stack two bikes vertically and get them off the ground. What a great way to utilize your space! This could fall on your head if the winch is left to free wheel! Be careful and be sure your load is securely attached to your joists with anchors or structural screws.
