Getting my emirates ID: no job offer, no sponsor, no investment (10 year residency - my story)

As many of you know, I made the decision to move to Dubai very abruptly last year - no family, no friends, no connections, just a word from God. I packed my 3 bags and moved in September 2024. I immediately started applying for the Dubai freelance visa, the two-year residency option as I thought that would be my route to staying and building here but none of those pathways worked out. I was nominated for the Golden Visa through Creator HQ in April 2025 and returned to Dubai in October 2025, and completed the process in two days. I had to do medical tests, x-rays and additional vaccinations for my work as a personal trainer. The whole process took 2 days maximum; a very smooth process through the Salem Medical Centre and my ID was delivered to my doorstep 24hrs later.
