Kigali Global Dialogue 2023 | Doing Away with Debt: Rethinking Development Finance Nearly half of African countries are at risk of debt distress. Multiple macroeconomic shocks have laid bare the continent’s vulnerabilities. It is now imperative that we interrogate the existing financial architecture for development and propose alternatives.
