If you know about Pandava dance and Gendi, please tell us in the comment box And our civilization always remains thank you This Pandav Nritya took place at Village Bhainskot, Distt, Pauri Uttrakhand in December The age old cosmic dance continues depicting the life of Pandava's. The tradition has been preserved by the local people of Garhwal which is celebrated every 5 or 7 years. This dance is rooted in the Garhwali village culture. The traditional dance includes 2-3 hours of morning Pooja followed by 2-3 hours of cosmic dance in the afternoon with set rhythms where avatars of Pandavas are reflected upon selected villagers. The same process is repeated in the cold night as well. It usually happens in the winters and lasts anything….. In essence Pandav Nritya is the episodic narration of Mahabharata in the form of dance & Music and for local folks its an art to please god.
