Struggle Of An African Mom 🥹 Mother Carries Baby While Fetching Water and Cooking ❤️ Village Life

Welcome back to Life Of African Village Wife! In today’s episode, Oluchukwu begins her day by walking a long distance to fetch drinking water. Upon arriving at her usual water source, she discovers that it has dried up, forcing her to continue her journey in search of fresh clean water. Throughout the entire journey, her little daughter Chinemerem stays quietly on her mother’s back. After successfully fetching two buckets of water, Oluchukwu immediately begins preparing a delicious traditional unripe plantain porridge. She carefully washes and cuts the plantains into smaller pieces, pounds fresh pepper and crayfish, and lights a traditional firewood stove to begin cooking. As the meal cooks, baby Chinemerem becomes restless and cries continuously. Despite trying her best to comfort her daughter, Oluchukwu continues preparing the meal. She harvests fresh scent leaves from her garden, washes and shreds them into the pot, and also adds pumpkin leaves purchased from the market. When the plantains become soft and tender, she adds palm oil to give the dish its rich color and authentic taste. A few minutes later, the vegetables are added, and the traditional African meal is ready to serve. With her mother-in-law away at work, Oluchukwu enjoys the delicious unripe plantain porridge alone while caring for her daughter. Later, her mother-in-law returns home and is also served the freshly prepared meal.
