Vectors and How to Find Components | Physics - Basics
⬇️ Check out the Physics Lab website for lessons, study guides, practice problems and more! https://physicslab.app/?utm_source=yo... Vectors! They're like scalars, but more exciting. They show up everywhere in physics: displacement vectors, velocity vectors, force vectors, momentum vectors... To make vectors more useful, and to do vector addition and subtraction, we'll need to know how to find the components of a vector from its magnitude and direction (an angle). We can do that by using what we know about right triangles and the trig functions. ⬇️ Here's an invite to the Physics Lab discord server - get help with physics questions and chat with other students https://physicslab.app/p/discord 00:00 Intro 00:33 What is a vector? 02:46 Vector components 08:48 Choosing a coordinate system 13:04 Steps for finding vector components 14:20 Summary #physics #APphysics #APphysics1
