Grand Design Imagine 2970RL - tour / 2 year update / plus something you can never unsee!

In this video we show a tour of our 2019 Grand Design Imagine 2970 RL. This is our 1st travel trailer. We love the floor plan of this camper. I would consider it more of a "destination" RV since you have to extend both slides to access the fridge and panty. Although it is considered to be half-ton towable, you will be much better off with a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. This floor plan has freestanding table and chairs, but we downgraded that option since we wanted the booth. The cost savings from that made getting the 2nd air conditioner nearly a wash. The camper has an electric fire place, which is perfect for our winter camping trips here in Ohio. We have had a few minor issues with the camper, but Grand Design has been great to work with and we really appreciate their customer service! I recently upgraded the suspension to the Morryde CRE3000 equalizers and the heavy duty shackle and wetbolt kit. This has made a big difference in towing and the ride is much smoother.
