2007-2015 Mini Cooper S R56 VANOS Exhaust Solenoid Valve Replacement – P054B, P13C9 / 2D54 2D60

Hey Guys, We are working on our 2013 Mini Cooper S today. We take you step by step on replacing the VANOS Exhaust Solenoid Valve. This is a common failure item and it typically throws a check engine light. The Mini engine code will be 2D60 if you are using a BMW/Mini scanner and sometimes followed up with a 2D54 & 2C58. If you are using a normal generic scan tool then you will get a P13C9 and a P054B. Parts List: Please verify your model year and engine for the parts below. These links are for a 2013 Mini Cooper S but fit several models from 2007-2015. This part was also used on the 2013-2016 Paceman and the 2011-2016 Countryman.
