In this video, I compare my Sony A7 IV with my OM System OM-1 using nearly identical settings to see if the image quality difference is really noticeable. Both cameras are shooting 4K, both are set to standard picture profiles, and both are using equivalent focal lengths and apertures. The Sony A7 IV has long been my work camera, but after spending time with the OM-1, I'm beginning to wonder if full frame is really necessary for the kind of photography and YouTube videos I create. This isn't a scientific lab test. It's a real-world comparison from someone who actually uses both cameras.
