"Goonies One," headquartered in Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture, is a car dealership established in 2017. Goonies One was highly regarded for its ability to customize popular car models like the Jimny to customer specifications, and reportedly had many customers beyond Munakata City. However, around the end of March, the president and staff suddenly disappeared, and contact became impossible. In a group chat about Goonies One, several customers reported being victims. "Paid 6 million yen, car not delivered. No contact since around March 23rd." "The vehicle has arrived, but Goonies One hasn't paid the sales agent, so delivery is impossible." This man said he found the car scheduled for delivery parked in a parking space about 3 kilometers from the shop. ■Man: "It was supposed to arrive at the end of last year. I reminded them several times, and they finally told me that they were talking to the leasing company and that delivery would be possible by the end of March." After that, he lost contact with the shop. Last year, the man was pressured by the dealership to pay approximately 1.3 million yen in a lump sum, and despite feeling uneasy, he purchased the car. A local sales agent that supplies cars to Goonies One responded to FBS's inquiry as follows: "Our company has also suffered serious losses due to a large amount of uncollectible accounts receivable. While monetary compensation to the affected users is difficult, we will cooperate to the extent possible in verifying the facts regarding vehicle orders." There are other complaints of damage caused by Goonies One. This woman, who lives in Munakata City, says that the license plate number of her car, which was stored at Goonies One, was changed without her consent. ■Woman "They asked to borrow a car for taking photos for their shop and for use at events.
