Greater Anglia Class 321 Ride: London Liverpool Street to Norwich (Fast) - 27/02/20

Video: Riding the full Great Eastern Main Line in the northbound direction from London Liverpool Street to Norwich onboard a Greater Anglia Class 321 unit (ex-Great Northern/FCC 321419 with Renatus 321306). This was working the 1P30 1300 London Liverpool Street to Norwich service which is the faster type of standard Norwich service (excluding the 'Norwich in 90') formally worked by 90/Mk3 sets before their withdrawal. However, due to the slow removal of the Mk3 stock some slots were filled with 321s as cover (before the 745s took over), so for this ride I was lucky to get a fast 321 Norwich bound service. Along the way, the service was delayed at first and rerouted on to the slow lines between Ilford and Seven Kings due to track inspections being carried out on the fast lines, but despite all this the service arrived 2 to 3 minutes early at Norwich in the end. NOTE - Between London and Ipswich someone was sat in my favourite seat on these types of Mk3 EMUs (by the back window seat under the pantograph in the motor coach), so in this time I was sat a bit further forward near the door at a slightly dirty window before moving seats at Ipswich. Apologies for that, I recommend watching this at full 1080p to overcome this.
