This is a vlog of my 3-day, 2-night trip to Akiruno City, a satoyama (traditional rural landscape) area in Tokyo. You can find the 📍URLs for the places I visited listed below. I hope you find them useful! 😊 𓅫– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Thanks to a wonderful opportunity, I spent some special time at "BO-SHA," a private rental villa housed in a renovated traditional farmhouse. It is located in the satoyama countryside of Akiruno City, Tokyo—about an hour’s train ride west of the city center. The owners renovated the farmhouse themselves, creating a charming, exclusive rental property filled with their personal touches and a curated selection of antique and Scandinavian furniture. Using the villa as my home base, I enjoyed a leisurely time exploring local shops and stores selling vintage goods. I enjoyed BBQ and cooking in the glamping area, and even tried my hand at roasting coffee beans and making latte art in the on-site roasting shed... Simply spending time at the villa became a highlight of the trip itself. Deep green mountain scenery that makes you forget you're in Tokyo, the chirping of small birds, and a clear, beautiful river.
