My Son Made Me Play OoglyBoogly… I Didn't Even Know My Flashlight Had An ON Button

So my son has been begging me to play OoglyBoogly — a Gorilla Tag fan game — and today I finally caved and loaded in for the very first time. I went in confident. I should not have been confident. 🎮 Turns out the entire movement system is "smack a wall as hard as you can and fling yourself forward and pray." I spent the first chunk of this video launching myself into walls, bouncing into vents, and slowly figuring out how to climb anything at all — all while trying to find the power switches to reach Level 2. With monsters around. In the dark. Great start for me. A few personal lowlights: 🔦 I played in near-total darkness for an embarrassingly long time before learning my flashlight has, in fact, an ON button ☢️ I finally grabbed the Geiger counter (apparently the loud beeping means "run, you idiot") 👹 I survived several monster encounters purely by accident 🕐 I stumbled into the mysterious Clock Room and hunted down the final switch 🔔 …and when that clock chime hit, I realized — wait, did I actually just BEAT my kid's game?! No skill. No clue. Just a dad flinging himself around VR trying to make his son proud. If you like watching someone fail upward into an accidental victory, you're gonna feel right at home. 🫠 👍 LIKE if you've ever been humbled by a game your kid plays for fun 💬 COMMENT the dumbest thing you've done your first time in a VR game 🔔 SUBSCRIBE and watch me slowly get less terrible at this ⏱️ Timestamps 0:00 – Going in way too confident 0:00 – Learning to fling myself into walls 0:00 – The moment I discovered the flashlight turns ON 0:00 – Hunting for the power switches 0:00 – Dodging monsters with the Geiger counter 0:00 – The Clock Room 0:00 – The final switch (I actually won???) #OoglyBoogly #GorillaTag #VR #VRGames #QuestGames #DadGamer #FunnyMoments
