Janek Gwizdala Trio | Live in Argentina with Cliff Almond & Tom Cawley

The night before starting the recording sessions for the new album in Buenos Aires last week, we were able to sneak in a quick gig. This video is the first song from that gig having only played together as a band briefly at soundcheck where, as I’m sure a lot of you know, there are a ton of things to deal with besides rehearsing. I can’t begin to explain how happy I am with the sound of the new band, and despite this being an old tune of mine from Theatre By The Sea, it really highlights how these two exceptional musicians are able to breathe new life into an old tune despite having met for the first time the previous day. Hopefully this will inspire more of you to join in with the Pre-Sale while we finish the album and get it ready for release in October, and to come and see the band live in November if you’re in the UK.
