Embracing 4G for Critical Communications at Comms Connect Melbourne

In my search to find out how 4G for critical comms in the ASIAPAC region is currently adopted, I found that already many exhibitors and end users during last year Comms Connect are focused on the next generation voice and data services. At the event, I interviewed John Ghergetta from Hydra Network about his new global 4G POC initiative. A next generation high-speed two-way network service providing instant group voice and data communications for enterprises and government sectors. I also spoke to the Sohan Domingo from TAIT Communications on the entry of edge computing in the critical comms industry (separate vlog), Neil Jamieson from Wireless Innovation on merging VSAT and LTE PTT services (separate vlog) and I spoke to Ranjan Bhagat from command and control room manufacturer Zetron about the change that 4G brings into the control room. Furthermore Ted Nudgent from Brittish Telecom explains why the company is more and more focussing on offering critical comms services and in my conversation with Terry Feng MD from Hytera and Peter Scalatta, the recently appointed MD from Simoco Wireless in Australia, I investigated about their latest products/initiatives and growth in the region.
