Untold Stories: From Childhood to Service – Pastor Simion Buciuman What does a life dedicated to serving God look like, with 10 moves, three boys raised in parish houses, and a faith formed from the cradle? In this episode of the show Untold Stories, presented by Adina Tomoiagă, we meet Pastor Simion Buciuman, a man of smile and humor, who divided his life into decades and extracted precious lessons from each one. Born the sixth in a family of six children, Simion grew up in a home where his father wrote incessantly in notebooks and studied the Bible, and his mother sang while kneading bread. Although the material conditions were modest, his childhood was, in his words, "very happy". He inherited from his father a passion for study and listening, and from his mother – energy and singing. Married at 22, father of three boys up to 27, Pastor Buciuman entered the ministry just before the Revolution, during a period of pastor crisis. He studied theology part-time, in parallel with serving and raising children. From the first district in Caraș-Severin, where he went on pastoral visits with a hoe and a pitchfork, to the baptism of 40 people in a single day in the 1990s, his story is one of total dedication. Today, in his "seventh decade", Pastor Buciuman reflects serenely on his life, takes care of his sick brother-in-law and finds peace in meditating on Scripture and observing God's providence.
