With this piece for mandolin and symphony orchestra I won the special price of the Humperdinckfreunde Siegburg e. V. It's one of the very few compositions for mandolin and a whole symphony orchestra and the main difficulty here was to give the little mandolin a chance to prevail against the orchestra.
