An excerpt from the unsold TV pilot for a live-action version of LIL ABNER (1966), based on the famous comic strip, with Sammy Jackson (Lil Abner), Jeannine Riley (Daisy Mae), Judy Canova (Mammy Yokum), Jerry Lester (Pappy Yokum), and future BRADY BUNCH patriarch Robert Reed as a city slicker named Henry Cabbage Cod. (The color has faded on this print, which is why practically everything looks orange or red.)
