Penny wants to prove to Elliot that she is good with patients. But when Elliot see her bawl out Scott's girlfriend for dumping Scott when he is so ill, Elliot is not convinced. Penny cannot bring herself to apologise. Oliver is determined to work on a case with Jac and he is delighted to be able to spot something crucial that she has missed. When Jac overhears him boasting later, he is very surprised when she does not tell him off. Donna takes Linden's daughter Holly under her wing on her first day on the wards. But Donna, ever the gossip, cannot resist asking Holly about her mother which pushes Holly too far and she storms off.
