Conductive Labs MRCC USB MIDI routing
update 07-23-2020 - MRCC USB MIDI... USB MIDI is bi-directional, so MIDI messages can be sent and received on the same cable. USB MIDI can also support multiple "virtual" cables on a single real cable. As an example, when you plug the MRCC into your PC there will be 12 MRCC input and output interfaces to choose from. This is handy for playing several soft-synths, because often they cannot share the same MIDI input interface. Or when assigning MIDI tracks from a DAW to several HW-synths plugged in to the MRCC. The MRCC supports two types of USB MIDI: 1) One USB Device, which typically connects to a PC or tablet where the MRCC is the "device". It has 12 virtual input "cables" and 12 virtual output "cables". 2) Four USB Host ports, which enables USB MIDI class compliant devices like MIDI controllers to be used without a PC. Each has 4 input virtual "cables" and one output virtual "cable". See more at Conductive Labs https://conductivelabs.com/mrcc
