ESAMI DI MATURITA': come affrontarli? Il dott. Noè su Rai1.

MATURITY EXAMS How to overcome performance anxiety? First of all, by learning to manage your breathing. Through proper breathing techniques, you can slow your heart rate, calm your mind, and regain clarity. It's important to remember that an exam doesn't define a person's worth: it simply provides feedback on what you've studied and learned. School isn't a court of law, but a stage on the journey that leads to adulthood. This year, among the new features of the final exams, a maturity grade has been introduced. However, personal and relational growth should not be assessed only at the end of school, but cultivated throughout the five years through genuine training in emotional and character skills. In this journey, the role of teachers is fundamental. Educating isn't just about imparting knowledge, but also about accompanying students in their emotional growth, helping them develop self-confidence, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage difficulties. Emotionally supporting young people is essential, because those who learn to manage anxiety, fear, and moments of uncertainty will be better prepared to face life's challenges and build their future with greater serenity. My advice to students is this: transform yourselves into lovers of knowledge. When you study out of curiosity, passion, and a desire to learn, anxiety decreases, enthusiasm increases, and a deeper motivation develops. And when knowledge becomes a discovery, you experience the journey of growth with greater joy and confidence.
