Newly opened near Penang: Bertam Souk & Water Park, Slides and Rides for the family! Great food too!

Spent the day at this newly opened water park near Kepala Batas, next to Bertam Penang Golf and Country Club, just 5 minutes away from the PLUS highway. It's about 45 minutes away from Penang Island depending on which area you stay. On the way we had breakfast at Genting Cafe in Island Glades, a popular kopitiam for Penang people. Lots of hawker food, famous for its curry mee, chee cheong fun and many others. The food at Bertam was really good too, especially the nasi minyak daging I ordered there. Really fun day for the family, worth a short day trip, or you can ask about they stay and play packages.
