He shared there was a mixed community of Sikhs and Hindus only few Muslim families were living there. they did not thought that they will leave their village,but when the troubles started around the villages and wave of it was felt there so then one day the mob came there and pushed them to leave and they flee the village to save their lives , become the part of the major caravan moving towards Pakistan under the protection of state army as a Muslim named Hameed was the prime minister of the Raja of Patiala and he made sure that no harm should come to them so army protected them well they did not let the drink water from the ditches or water wells in fear that those may be poisoned. so the long line of migrants snaked toward Pakistan and enter near to Arifwala Border in Pakistan and were free to move any where when they crossed the border. it was hard for government to settle all those migrants at one place and each one moved to different cities as their destiny led them from there he came to Khanewal and from there moved to other places and finally settled at Multan till he got married with the girl from the family in the same business of pot makers at Buta Kot near Kabirwala and now enjoys to live with his extended family. He has some of his family yet lives in India and they often use to visit them and he said he may be able to recognize his street,but every thing is changed there. he does not have desire to revisit his place of birth as he felt there is no use. #Kabirwla. #Hansi. #Pakistanpartitionstories.
