OIL PAINTING PROCESS || Recreating a Vintage Photo 🍰

This piece will likely be displayed at the Seattle Art Fair this July with Blind Insect Gallery! 🎊🎊 This super fun painting is based off a friend's childhood photo that really spoke to me - the more I painted, the more little details I started to notice that really added to the lore :) I loved playing with the texture and color - it’s also a bigger piece than I usually work with, so I was able to be a bit looser with the brushstrokes, which I really enjoyed.
