Making Friends 🧡

Our two pets Solomon and Watson getting to know one another. Watson (Bengal Cat) was not impressed when Solomon the Samoyed came home for the first time, but after 11 weeks or so he accepted him :-) 🧡 For those that have asked: Solomon WAS on a 'proper' raw food diet, by proper I mean he was getting all the nutrients needed, including pig's pancreas (as many people think you can just use a bits of chicken and beef and think this is sufficient...it is not). Unfortunately for Solomon we noticed he was licking his leg a lot so we got several blood tests, an allergy test, an ultra sound done and it confirmed he had an inflamed Pancreas due to allergies. We didn't realise but it turned out he is allergic to Lamb, Salmon, Turkey, Pork, Duck and Rabbit. We had been feeding him all this, so it was lucky we got the tests done, and costed almost £2000 in total doing so. (Thank you Insurance). 🧡 He is now being fed ROYAL CANIN GASTRO INTESTINAL LOW FAT DIET food. A mixture of wet food and biscuits, and he now has to stay on this for the foreseeable future. His Pancreas is back to normal and his bloods/nutrient levels are all good :-) 🧡 He also really likes Bovril on Toast (just a small corner piece in the morning) and he shares a Steak with me when I have one, but only a small amount as again, he is not good with fatty foods. 🧡 If you like this video, watch their next one, which is one year on 🧡    • Best Friends Forever 🧡 (Making Friends 2)   #makingfriends #samoyed #solomonsamoyed
