In this special, we celebrate the presenter's life by retracing some of his successful career as a communicator and entrepreneur, but we've made our destination his first address, which coincides with the opening of Baú da Felicidade. He made his television debut in the early 1960s hosting Vamos Brincar de Hangman, broadcast on TV Paulista, which later became Programa Silvio Santos, a collection of several auditorium shows and sketches. The show transformed Silvio Santos into one of the greatest icons of Brazilian television. He owns the Silvio Santos Group, a conglomerate whose companies include Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (popularly known by its acronym SBT), one of the largest TV networks in the country, Liderança Capitalização (manager of the Tele Sena title), and Jequiti. His net worth was estimated at $1.3 billion in 2013, making him the only Brazilian celebrity on Forbes magazine's billionaires list.
