Think of it like a shortened version of traditional Jenga. To start, build your Jenga tower as you normally would. Then, start a timer for one minute and see who can remove the most pieces without knocking the tower down. You can time each player individually or play in partners, competing to see who can remove the most blocks before time runs out. Whichever way you choose to play, watch out for falling blocks! Next up, we have Penny Stack, and in this game players will try to stack 25 pennies in a tower as quickly as possible. The twist? They can only use one hand. For best results, split players into teams of three or four and have them compete in multiple rounds to see who comes out on top! Our third game is called Wanna Spoon and all you’ll need is two bowls, a spoon and some ping pong balls to play. Players will compete individually, using their spoon to transfer as many balls as they can from one bowl to the other — no hands allowed! Whoever moves the most balls before time is up, wins! The next game I have for you is Egg-cellent Fun — and it’s a simple way to level up our last game, Wanna Spoon. This time instead of using ping pong balls, you’ll use eggs. Players will have to carry their egg in their spoon from one end of the room to the other, continuing until the time runs out. Once again, no hands are allowed! The player who makes it the furthest across the room without dropping their egg in one minute, wins! Fifth we have Marshmallow Stuff, and like the name suggests, you’ll need marshmallows to play. The rules are simple. Have players stuff as many marshmallows as they can into their mouths until time runs out. The player with the most marshmallows in their mouth when the timer goes off, wins! Bonus points if you have them say something silly once their mouths are full. Our next game is a bit of a memory test. It’s called State List. To play, ask players to name as many states as they can in one minute. It’s easiest to do this in written form so have some pen and paper on hand before you play. Whoever names the most states is the winner! Sixth, we have Solo Pyramid, and to play, have players stack as many red cups as they can into a pyramid shape without knocking their stack over. Apply the one-hand rule if you want to make things extra tricky! ‍ Now, gift wrapping is a true talent and this next game will test just how talented your team is. Start by splitting everyone into groups of three or four, with random objects and wrapping materials at the ready. Try to choose objects with a mix of shapes, some simple and some more complex. Have teams compete to see how many objects they can wrap in one minute. Bonus points for creativity! The ninth game I have for you is called Dice Rolling and it’s one of the easiest Minute to Win It games around. To play, sort players into partners and provide each pair with a set of dice. The goal is simple: roll the dice and try to get the highest score possible. Keep rolling until time runs out. The team with the highest score at the end wins! And finally, we’ve got Name That Tune — a Minute to Win It classic. To play, select five-second snippets from twelve different songs - totalling one minute in length. Play the snippets for your team having players write down the names of the songs they hear. The player with the most correct answers at the end, wins!
