Call on His Name - Wordhip Music

What must I do to be saved? That question was asked nearly two thousand years ago by a Roman jailer whose life was forever changed by the answer: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved." This song follows the message of salvation presented throughout Scripture. From the Philippian jailer in Acts 16, to the promise of Romans 10, to the declaration that we are saved by grace through faith, the gospel remains the same today as it was when the apostles first proclaimed it. Salvation is not earned by good works, religious effort, or personal achievement. It is the gift of God made possible through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because all have sinned, all need a Savior. Because Christ died for all, salvation is offered to all. And all who call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
