From 2014 to 2020 Mercedes earned 7 constructors championships, 6 WDC's at the mere cost of a broken friendship and an unhappy Valtteri Bottas. Saddening, but impressive. Lewis Hamilton achieved the best statistics in all of F1, and the sport became a snoozefest with how much he was winning. Until some Dutch guy with childhood trauma came into the picture. I still do think F1 was interesting despite Mercedes domination, but then again that's because I was paying attention to McLaren. A team that betrayed my trust and crushed my dreams. But that is all in the past...actually not really. Mercedes is promising in the 2026 F1 season with the new regulations. That is basically a super flawed rulebook with Super Clipping, Energy Management and basically being Mario Kart with potential deaths that isn't your controller. F1 in 2026 has had a controversial start but Mercedes could not care less, they dominated the first few months and are set to be the top contender for the championship. Which is why I took the time in this video to talk about what it's like to be a Mercedes driver and fan. The experiences they endure and how it compares to other teams. In summary, Mercedes is a fucking bouncy castle where you get to play with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli, while Toto Wolff takes cute pictures of you guys. Then there's Ferrari that's in Trench Warfare since 2008, with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton sharing rations. While Aston Martin is 60feet under ground digging they're already dug up grave, they just keep going deeper. Fernando Alonso has actually been tortured for almost 20 years and it's not even funny. Lawrence Stroll bought Adrian Newey, Dan Fallows, Enrico Cardile, Andy Cowell, Eric Blandin, Bob Bell and Giles Wood, to make the "perfect" team lineup. But then gets a Honda engine that suffered the same problems that they did in McLaren. Messed up communications, late changes, delays and VIBRATIONS.
