I have compiled a small collection of Smt. K. S. Chithra Amma songs based on Raag Bhimpalasi—one of my all-time favourite ragas. Chithra Amma has sung many beautiful compositions in this raag, and each one carries a deep emotional warmth, gentle longing, and calm elegance. Raag Bhimpalasi is known for its soothing, slightly wistful mood, and Chithra’s voice brings out its essence effortlessly—soft phrases, graceful pauses, and a heartfelt flow that touches the listener quietly but deeply.
