Four firefighters have been injured in the fires affecting the province of Ourense, three of them in the one reported in Oimbra. There, two have a reserved prognosis after suffering burns during the extinguishing efforts. The workers, who are part of the municipal brigade, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Provincial government sources told EFE that a third firefighter suffered dizziness in Oimbra, while at the Santiso fire in Maceda, another suffered an injury. The fire has already scorched more than 3,500 hectares. Furthermore, the flames near the tracks have forced the closure of rail traffic between Galicia and Madrid for six hours.
