He rises slowly, glancing out the window as the figures gather below. The last of his composure lingers in the quiet, in the routine motions — a final breath, a final moment of control. A knock at the door. A nurse enters, unaware. He speaks calmly, as if nothing has changed. And then, without hesitation, he ends it. What follows is not panic. It is decision. Moving through the halls with purpose, he carries out what remains of his control — one final act to ensure nothing is left behind. The echoes of gunfire tear through the building, each shot ringing louder than the last, each one bringing the truth closer to its end. Outside, they hear it. Inside, it cannot be stopped. Bodies fall. Doors break. The chaos spills through every corridor as those who arrive are met with something far beyond what they expected.
