Halladas IMÁGENES INÉDITAS de LORCA durante la INVESTIGACIÓN para un DOCUMENTAL | RTVE Noticias

Film director Manuel Menchón has discovered several previously unseen films of the poet Federico García Lorca during research for his documentary film "La voz quebrada" (The Broken Voice), which will premiere in 2026. Until now, very few moving images of Federico García Lorca were known, mostly from a tour and performance by his traveling theater company, "La Barraca," in 1932. But filmmaker Manuel Menchón, while researching for "La voz quebrada," discovered an archive of 1,500 films dating from 1915 to 1970. This archive was kept at the home of historian Gonzalo Menéndez-Pidal, and included films made by Menéndez-Pidal himself. It was there that nitrate prints containing the previously unseen images of Federico García Lorca were found, inside a tin of shoe polish identified with the initials "F.G.L." These are new images from that same trip by the "La Barraca" theater company to Madrid in 1932, showing Lorca himself on stage, made up as a shadow, and aboard a van from which he leans out smiling and waving as it drives away. The images have been restored in high resolution by Acción Cultural Española and the Valencia Film Archive. #FedericoGarcíaLorca #Lorca #NeverSeenImages #BreakingNews #News #LiveNews #StreamingNews #LiveBroadcast #Spain #NewsInSpanish #News 👉👉 More news: https://www.rtve.es/noticias ➤SUBSCRIBE to RTVE News on YouTube: https://bit.ly/2WtyvUx ✔️Follow us on Instagram:   / rtvenoticias   ✔️Follow us on Twitter:   / rtvenoticias   ✔️Follow us on Facebook:   / rtvenoticias
