As the Handala sets sail towards Gaza to attempt to break the Israel siege, we revisit the Global March to Gaza from mid June. Our guest in this episode is Omar Anas, otherwise known as London rapper WorkRate. He is one of the many activists that joined the global march in Gaza, and he managed to make it past multiple military checkpoints before being forced to turn back. Activists from all over the world planned to make their way to Gaza through Egypt. The Sumud Convoy that started in Morocco made it all the way to Libya before being stopped by the UAE backed Haftar forces. International activists managed to make their way to Egypt, but were stopped by the Egyptian military way before they could make it to the Rafah border.
